but yeah, just spent a good chunk of time changing the settings on all my non-literature stuff. i'm sticking around for the time being (if eclipse couldn't drive me off nothing can at this point) but to those of you fleeing the premises for understandable reasons, good luck finding a new place to share your work that hasn't been criticized for being terrible for artists and please tell us if you manage to find one

seeing as how a good chunk of my home page is being taken over by screenshots of the hacker copypasta, here's a reminder for y'all

so i've been getting messages like this on occasion and it's pretty obviously a scam. like even if most of my work here wasn't meme templates and stories i'd be suspicious. if you've been getting shit like this too, just block and ignore 'em.

That's probably a couple months late at this point, but I feel like you guys should know what happened.

The bad news: I will not be continuing it in its current incarnation. I lost steam for it a while ago; looking over it now, I feel like I was rushing to get the episodes out, and the quality suffered for it. I also made a mistake that contributed to its death: I got attached to a contestant, they were next on the chopping block according to the polls, and I had no idea what to do (not wanting to see them go, but not wanting to fudge or lie about the results; I feel you guys deserve better than that). So that halted my writing until I ultimately decided to cancel it.

The good news? Because I have a tendency to overthink things, I'd already had a full cast set up for a hypothetical season 2, and I still want to use it. So I'm planning on rebooting the series using these new contestants, on top of a few changes being made to the format (mostly a change in who's hosting this).

I have a sneak peek prepared that'll go up later today, and the first episode will probably come out some time this week. As for the original, I plan on keeping it up for the time being.
